Every time I am introduced to a new band, I always wonder where they come up with their name. There are some in which I can't imagine them having any meaning at all. There is a countless number of these out there. The Academy Is..., Automatic Loveletter, Brand New, Cobra Starship, Blink 182, Relient K, T13C... The list goes on and on. My personal favorite is Paramore. This isn;t even a real word. What could this possibly come from or mean? These names are beyond ridiculous. Do you think they make them this way to get people interested in their music? Could there be another reason? I just don't get it and I would like to know if they even do.
